Home/About

One person is accountable for every job we take.

We do two things for owner-led service businesses: we take the repetitive work out of the week, and we rebuild the website so customers can find you and decide to call.

Everything we sell started as a problem in one of our own companies.

Victor L. Moreno · Founder & Chief Creative Officer

We’ve run fence crews. We’ve submitted permit applications through municipal portals and watched them sit in review queues behind other applications, with no clear indication of when they would move. We’ve watched one of our own files sit for three weeks because checking the portal, following up with the department and keeping the customer informed was not anybody’s job in particular. Then we had to explain to the customer why nothing had moved.

For years, every quote, follow-up and permit chase went through one person. The same information got typed into a text message, a spreadsheet and an invoicing app. Follow-ups happened when somebody remembered. Our websites looked fine to us, but Google and the assistants people now ask instead of searching could not read them properly.

We fixed those problems inside our own companies first, badly at the start, then properly. The systems and standards that survived are what Automplified sells now. That is also why every engagement begins by recording where the business stands: without a real starting point, nobody can honestly say whether the work changed anything.

As Founder and Chief Creative Officer, Victor decides which problems are worth solving, shapes each system around the people who will use it, and sets the creative and strategic direction. Specialists handle the design, development, automation and implementation each engagement requires.

Victor’s name is on the work. He stays involved and remains accountable from the first conversation through delivery.

Victor brings 20 years of experience in construction, permitting and compliance, going back to 2006. He has been a licensed fence contractor since 2008. That license covers fence work, not search, marketing or software.

What we’re actually like to work with

We'll tell you when something isn't worth buying. If a piece of work won't bring in more jobs, make each job worth more, or take hours out of your week, we'd rather say so in the first hour than invoice you for it. We have talked people out of rebuilds when a repair was enough.

We put dates on everything, including the results that don't flatter us. Our own fence company's rebuild has a real Search Console improvement on the record and a retraction sitting next to it, because we'd published a conversion rate that our own tag wasn't counting properly. That record is public, retraction and all. We'd want to see that from somebody before hiring them, so we publish it.

We answer our own email, and we're in South Florida, so we're mostly in the same timezone and often in the same county.

Things we won't do

  • Promise you a ranking, a lead count, or a date by which either happens. Nobody can, and where you rank depends on competitors and search-engine changes we don't control.
  • Quote you an hours-saved number before measuring your business. Anything we said today would be invented.
  • Average a build score and a ranking into one figure. They measure different things and blending them is how a bad month gets sold as a good one.
  • Give you advice that needs a license we don't hold. Where a matter needs an attorney, a CPA or an engineer, we'll say so.
